Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski has developed his practice across more than five decades, moving between painting, relief and large-scale spatial work. The chronology below highlights selected institutional and international contexts rather than attempting to reproduce a complete exhibition record.

Selected chronology

1985 — Nicolaus Copernicus Museum, Frombork 1990 — Tuchfabrik Art Centre, Trier 1990s — Institutional presentations in Poland, Germany, Israel and the United States 2017 — Museum of Independence, Warsaw — White and Red 2023–2024 — National Museum in Kielce — monographic exhibition Collisions 2024 — A Space Gallery, Venice — Venice Whispers and Carnival Biennale Mask 2026 — A Space Gallery, Venice — MINORIA: The Shape of Breath during The Venice Glass Week

Continuity rather than retrospective status

This history is not presented as a closed retrospective narrative. Oraczewski’s current practice continues to develop the structural concerns visible across earlier cycles: light and shadow, material density, the instability of surface, identity, memory and the collision of apparently opposing forms.
