Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski returns to Venice in September 2026 with new works presented within MINORIA: The Shape of Breath at A Space Gallery during The Venice Glass Week.
The Shape of Breath
The presentation continues Oraczewski’s long engagement with light, surface, identity and the instability of the visible image. In the newest works, the mask is no longer treated only as a representation of identity. It begins to fracture, separate and open, revealing a more elemental condition of presence beneath the image.
Within MINORIA, this movement becomes part of a wider inquiry into emergence: the point at which form appears, changes state or begins to dissolve. Light is not used as decoration, but as an active force that exposes structure and alters the way the work is perceived.
