Wind
Wind has no fixed visible shape. In Wind 1 and Wind 2 (2019), Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski registers its movement through striated passages of colour and the material rhythms of oil paint. Deep blues, greens and dark bands establish an atmosphere that is constantly shifting, suspended between landscape and abstraction. The invisible becomes perceptible through the effect it leaves on the surface. Both works were included in ORAC Gallery’s MINORIA: TEXIS presentation at Spectrum Chicago in 2026, connecting these intimate paintings with a wider inquiry into movement, freedom and changing forms.
